Jonathan Page lives and works in Bronllys, Brecon. Several of his short stories have been highly placed in competition and included in anthologies in recent years. He was shortlisted for the Rhys Davies Prize 2022. His novel, Blue Woman, the fictional life story of Rose Hartwood, a 20th Century Welsh artist, was published by Weatherglass Books in 2022. The novelist and playwright, Barney Norris, described Blue Woman as ‘Genuinely beautiful. This tender, imagistic novel is deeply felt and full of writing to glory in.’

His article on the Art of Blue Woman, about the Welsh women artists who inspired the creation of Rose, was published in the New Welsh Review. Life Drawing: Jonathan Page on Writing Blue Woman, was published by Wales Arts Review. Blue Woman was reviewed in the TLS, and selected for Wales Literature Exchange bookshelf, an organisation which promotes the translation of Welsh literature. He is currently working on a novel set in the civil wars of the 17th Century.
