I was born in Carmarthen, Wales to Welsh-speaking parents who spoke to each other in Welsh and to me in English. My understanding of Welsh is therefore good but my spoken Welsh is atrocious! I am passionate about Welsh history and love writing. My life has taken me from Wales to England and then on to Papua New Guinea and finally Australia where I now live. I am writing a series of fictional books about Gruffydd ap Cynan and his family as I love the period. The fist is ‘The Welsh Traitor’s Daughter’ and the second is ‘The Welsh Warrior’s Inheritance’.
