Tim was born in Zimbabwe and travelled extensively before settling in Wales in 2005. These days, Tim primarily writes novels, and is the creator of 1960s Berlin detective, Max Becker. His first Max Becker book, Girl Hunter—a short novella— came out in 2019, closely followed by the first Max Becker novel, Angel Avenger. He has just completed a Bildungsroman novel, That Girl in The Boxcar, set in 1925 America, which he plans to publish under the name K.T. Mann. He is writing a third Max Becker Adventure and is being published and translated into Greek. Tim loves walking the Welsh coast, swimming in the sea, reading widely and, most of all, writing.
