Isobel is a poet and author from Cardiff who has been writing since childhood. Her poetry has been included in Arachne Press’s anthology A470: Poems for the Road which was chosen as Books Council of Wales’ Book of the Month for February 2022, and was an Amazon bestseller. Her poetry can also be found in Sidekick Books’ Look Again anthology. Isobel’s poems have been longlisted for the AUB International Poetry Prize (2022), and shortlisted for the Canterbury Festival Poet of the Year Competition (2022).

Most recently, Isobel’s poem ‘The Castaway’, written after the largely forgotten Pre-Raphaelite spiritualist artist Anna Mary Howitt, has been published in the Autumn 2023 issue of The PRS Review.

Isobel is currently writing a novel and compiling a poetry collection. Her as-yet-unpublished novel has been longlisted in the Fiction Factory First Chapter competition (2023).
