Kate Noakes has published eight volumes of poetry, the most recent of which is ‘Goldhawk Road’ (Two Rivers Press, 2023). Her latest pamphlet is ‘Chalking the Pavement’ (Broken Sleep Books 2024). Her non-fiction includes ‘Real Hay-on-Wye’ (Seren, 2022. Kate has degrees in Geography, and English Literature from the University of Reading, and an MPhil in Creative Writing from USW. She was awarded a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing by the University of Reading in 2023. She lives in London. Kate was elected to the Welsh Academy in 2011. Kate is available for critical feedback on a one to one basis as well as writing workshops anywhere in Wales and England.
