A new free community festival will take place in Bangor this month, bringing live performances, creative workshops, food and drink stalls, and much more to the city.

Organised by Frân Wen with the help of some amazing partners, Gŵyl Adda Fest is a free, open-air event taking place between 2pm-10pm on Saturday 28th September.

As well as visual and performance art, there will also be a spoken word event held on the day, so come along to hear the likes of Lowri Hedd, Meleri Davies and Gareth Evans-Jones perform some of their work.

It wouldn’t be a Frân Wen event without a bit of theatre would it! The festival will also be the set for the second part of their latest production, Olion.

They are also looking for volunteers to give a helping hand at the festival – can you help? Email sophie@franwen.com for more info.
