Three days of sleuthing, crime stories and author talks: Alibis in the Archive crime writing festival is back!

Featuring nine speakers drawn from the crime writing world, guests can expect a packed weekend deep-dive into the crime genre, from real-world cases to historical fiction to modern-day forensics.

The line-up of speakers features award-winning and best-selling authors, including Lynne Truss (Eats, Shoots and Leaves, The Constable Twitten series), Philip Gooden (author of the Nick Revill series), Jean Briggs (author of Summons to Murder), Margaret Murphy (author of Before He Kills Again) and Bonnie MacBird (author of Art in the Blood).

In-person tickets include full catering (two-course dinners and lunches, plus refreshments, and a lucky bag). Friday night will see the return of our popular Crime Writing Quiz – both residents and in-person weekend guests can join in!
